Bid on the right projects while you do the work

Neuralancer finds the Freelancer.com projects that fit you, writes a proposal for each one and bids within your rules — and drafts your Upwork proposals for you to send.

The whole bidding routine

Bidding that behaves like a careful freelancer

Scrolling the feed, judging the client, pricing, writing, chasing replies — every day, before anybody else gets there. Neuralancer does that part, the way you would.

Only the projects that fit

Keywords, skills, fixed or hourly, a budget range, and words that rule a project out. Each project is scored for how well it matches you, and anything under your bar is skipped.

A proposal written for each project

Not a template with the title pasted in. Every bid gets a proposal written for that brief, in your voice, using the guidance and portfolio links you give it. Turn it off and your own template is used instead.

Priced the way you choose

Bid a fixed amount, or let it price each project: a touch under the going rate to win on price, the budget's midpoint, or a touch above to win on value. Delivery days and milestone share are yours to set.

Clients worth working for

Skip employers below a rating or review count, without verified payment, or from countries you do not work with. Leave out sealed and NGO projects if they are not for you.

Early bids, in your hours

Bid only on projects posted in the last few minutes, when being early counts. Set the hours it may bid in your own timezone, and a ceiling on bids per day.

Never wastes your bid allowance

It reads how many Freelancer bids you have left this month and stops before they run out. It never bids on the same project twice.

Knows when you win

Every bid is followed after it is placed: shortlisted, awarded, rejected or revoked. Correct one by hand if the client awarded you some other way.

Replies drafted for you

When a client writes back on a project you bid on, a reply is drafted straight away. Send it yourself, or let it reply for you.

What is working

Win rate, response rate, what you spent in bids and which keywords bring the work — so you tighten the targeting on evidence rather than hunches.

Two platforms

Each platform, by its own rules

Freelancer.com lets you bid through its API, so Neuralancer places those bids for you. Upwork does not allow automated proposals, so there it does everything up to the button — and leaves the button to you.

  • Freelancer.com: finds, scores, prices, writes and bids — then follows the bid to the award.
  • Upwork: finds the jobs that match, drafts each proposal and queues it for you to review and submit.
  • Both: the same targeting, client filters, hours and daily limits, set once per platform.

Getting started

Bidding in three steps

01

Sign in with Neuralancer

The same account as the Neuralancer assistant. No new password, and your plan carries over.

02

Connect Freelancer or Upwork

Sign in to the platform and approve access. Neuralancer never sees your platform password.

03

Set your rules, switch it on

Say what you bid on and how. Preview a pass before it bids for real, then let it run on its own.

Questions

What freelancers ask first

Does it bid on Upwork for me as well?

No, and on purpose: Upwork's terms do not allow proposals to be submitted automatically. Neuralancer finds the Upwork jobs that match you and drafts a proposal for each, and you review it and submit it yourself. On Freelancer.com it places the bids itself.

Is my Freelancer or Upwork password shared with you?

No. You sign in on Freelancer.com or Upwork itself and approve access there. Neuralancer receives a token it can use for bidding and matching, and you can disconnect it at any time, from the app or from the platform.

Can I check what it would do before it bids?

Yes. A preview runs a full pass — finding, scoring, pricing and writing — and shows you the bids it would place without placing any. You can also bid on a single project yourself from the search.

Will it burn through my Freelancer bids?

No. It keeps to the daily ceiling you set, only bids during the hours you choose, reads your remaining Freelancer bid allowance and stops before it runs out, and never bids twice on one project.

How many bids does my plan include?

Bids written by Neuralancer count against a daily allowance that comes with your Neuralancer plan, shared with the assistant. Upgrading the plan raises it.

I already used bidding in the Neuralancer assistant.

Then you are already set up. Sign in with the same account and your connected accounts, rules and bid history are all here.
